The BBVA Foundation and the lvie have been jointly developing the capital stock series for Spain for more than twenty-five years already. Currently, it is a national and international reference for the analysis of capital accumulation in the Spanish economy and its territories. The 2020 work program on investment and capital stock will address, as in previous editions, the corresponding updates of the data until 2019 (with a preview of 2020 and 2021). The report that accompanies the 2020 edition will analyze the changes in the composition of investment and stock -by assets, sectors and territories- that have taken place during the last two decades, covering the years of expansion and crisis, as well as the last years of economic recovery in Spain. As a novelty, it will also analyze the capital stock figures of public transport infrastructures in physical units.
