Banking and Financial Economics
From its beginnings, Ivie has pursued a line of research in banking and financial economics. Its analysis of the banking sector, the process of financial integration in Europe, and corporate debt, has led to various publications and databases. In this area, the Ivie also has stood out for its dissemination work.
The research undertaken has allowed the Ivie to participate in the international network ‘The Wolpertinger Club’, an association of university academics with a common interest in financial systems and institutions that develops ways to co-operate in the research and teaching of banking, financial institutions and the economics of financial systems.
