In this project, using the information requested from the Tax Agency at the municipal level, the impact of the dana in Valencia on business turnover will be quantified. With this objective, information has been requested on the VAT-declared turnover of companies and self-employed individuals for the following quarters: the fourth quarter of 2023, the third quarter of 2024, and the fourth quarter of 2024. This will allow an assessment of the impact of the October 29, 2024 flood on sales, both from the third to the fourth quarter of 2024 and in comparison with the fourth quarter of 2023.

In the case of large companies (with turnover exceeding 6 million euros), VAT is declared monthly, which will make it possible to analyze the impact on this type of company on a month-by-month basis.

Additionally, the analysis of Temporary Employment Regulation Record (TERF) will be expanded (with detail up to 4 digits of the National Classification of Economic Activities), combining this with other information on employment characteristics and economic activity in the affected areas.
