IvieLAB. Evaluation of the implementation of European Funds
IvieLAB. Evaluation of the implementation of European Funds
Project start date: 2024
Year of publication: 2024
Funding institution: Generalitat Valenciana

The objective of this study is to monitor the use of European funds in the Valencian Community, by both regional and local public entities, offering a comparative analysis with other regions and with the State’s general administration. The analysis, which includes tenders and subsidies, offers an update of the 2023 report on the Evaluation of the implementation of NGEU funds in the Valencian Region.

The Public Sector Procurement Platform provides information regarding contract tenders. While, in the case of subsidies, the Spanish Government offers a database that includes information on all the calls for proposals funded by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. This allows to monitor and highlight the subsidies available to the Valencian Community. Detailed information on each subsidy is provided by the National Advertising System of Subsidies and Public Aids. For the specific case of the Valencian Community, it is possible to analyze other issues of interest such as the level of execution by Ministries, businesses and other public entities that depend on the Valencian Regional Government and city councils. As a result of this study, an updated report will be prepared with the latest data published in June 2024.
