Research Areas
This project aims to identify the groups that are at a greater risk of being excluded from the digital society, not only in terms of access to certain technologies or digital tools, but also in terms of management and skills related to new technologies, paying special attention to different dimensions of digital skills and the effect that the COVID-19 pandemic may have had on them. Examples of these groups are unemployed vs. employed, elderly vs. young ones, highly-educated vs. less-educated, foreigners vs. nationals, or women vs. men.
