Technical assistance to AIReF for the development of the study on the human resources policy of the Department of Education and Vocational Training of the Balearic Islands
Project start date: 2023
Project end date: research in progress
Funding institution: AIReF

The objective of this project is to provide technical support to AIReF for the development of a study on public education spending in the Balearic Islands. The project will be carried out through the Network for Good Practices in Evaluation (REDEV), formed by Ivie, AFI, and KSNET, which was created to promote both public and private sector policy evaluation in Spain.

The evaluation proposed in this case is the analysis of the efficiency of public educational spending in the Spanish region of the Balearic Islands, in order to provide reliable and objective information to facilitate proper planning and allocation of human resources among the different educational centers. The elaboration of the recommendations and proposals for improvement that arise from the analyses carried out will be framed within the educational policy objectives set by the Government of the Balearic Islands, and will take into account its territorial and socio-demographic characteristics, which hinder the efficient planning and allocation of human resources to non-university educational centers.
