This study will analyze how the interest of foreign investors in the Valencian Region has recently evolved through the acquisition of significant business stakes (greater than 10%). This is possible using the SABI database which contains information on more than 315,000 Valencian firms.

The report will cover all the Valencian firms included in the database, which currently has more than 2.5 million companies at national level. The aim is to respond to the following questions: To which sectors is foreign investment mainly directed? How has the pattern changed in recent years? Is foreign investment directed to firms that are  more profitable, larger, most efficient or more solvent? Which countries have the greatest appetite for investment in the Valencian Region? What are the characteristics of Valencian companies that have subsidiaries abroad? Which Valencian sectors are the most active in investing?
