This report addresses the situation of education in Spain, but from a different point of view, that of companies, which is often barely considered, but is very important when analyzing the education system. This has been possible thanks to the initiative of the Valencian Association of Entrepreneurs (AVE) and the collaboration of different associations of family-owned firms in Spain. Thanks to this collaboration, a survey to businesses and several round table discussions on issues related to education were organized with businessmen and HR managers.

Therefore, this work offers a double contribution. Not only does it provide new information, but from a less common, but very important perspective, that of business owners. This analysis supports the first part of the report, which includes a review of education in Spain based on available statistical sources and data, by providing a detailed objective analysis with which to contextualize and adequately assess the opinion of business owners.

This report is part of the collaboration program signed between Ivie and Valencian Business Association (AVE) to provide information and analysis on relevant socioeconomic issues related to the Valencian Community.
