Ángel Soler Guillén

Ángel Soler Guillén holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Valencia. He worked as a research technician at the Ivie from 1996 to 2019, where he is currently an associate researcher. He is also assistant professor at the Department of Applied Economics at the Universitat de València and director of the Statistics site of the Social Economy of Spain (CIRIECSTAT) of CIRIEC-Spain. He has collaborated in international projects, such as, EUKLEMS and SPINTAN, and has dedicated an important part of his professional career to the design and construction of the Human Development Index (HDI) for Spanish regions. He has published 95 books and book chapters, as well as 16 articles in national and international journals.
