The objective of this project is to assess and compare the degree of progress of the Spanish regions in digitalization, highlighting the greatest differences among them. The proposed approach consists of analyzing how digitalization penetrates the sectors through two fundamental channels that generate value: investments in digital assets and the structure of occupations with different degrees of digitalization. In this way, the impact of digitalization can be quantified by estimating its contribution to value added/GDP. To develop this approach, the project will rely on an innovative methodology and the creation of its own database.
