In order to assess the type of financial aid that vulnerable Valencian families affected by the increases in interest rates require from the Valencian Regional Government (GVA) will depend on a number of factors, such as, the amount and duration of the aid, the number of eligible families, the potential cost to the GVA, and any other implementation issues.
Therefore, the document addresses three questions:
- Which Valencian families are at risk and how many are affected?
- How much assistance should be given in order to make a difference?
- What much will the cost be for the GVA and what problems might arise from its implementation?
