Research Areas

This research work, developed in collaboration with the BBVA Foundation and the Complutense University of Madrid, aims to study the feminization of the health workforce in the following areas:

• The trajectory of feminization of healthcare professions, recent evolution and main characteristics.
• The feminization of degrees, based on the evolution of students and graduates by areas of study and training programs and their access to specific training.
• The incidence of feminization in the public healthcare system.
• The population projection of health professions.
• International comparison, based on the human resources profile in the healthcare system of other countries.
