The aim of this project is to prepare an economic report to calculate the amount of aid needed to cover the costs of green harvesting for the 2020 vintage in the Valencian Community, in accordance with the Royal Decree 557/2020 of 9 June, which adopts exceptional measures to support the wine sector, following the coronavirus crisis and its consequences on the sector. In particular, the report refers to the calculation of the costs of green harvesting or total destruction or removal of grape bunches while still in their immature stage.
