This project will carry out a combined analysis of the georeference of residences and local businesses affected by the floods on the 29th of october, in Valencia and its economic appraisal, based on the land registry and the work executed by the Institut Cartogràfic Valencià (ICV) and the Universitat Politècnica de València regarding the water levels reached in each municipality and street. This information will be combined to the extent that detailed data is available from the Insurance Compensation Consortium. On the basis of these sources and the investment and capital stock series compiled by the Ivie with province disaggregation, a more accurate estimate of the impact on residential and productive assets in each of the flood-affected areas can be obtained. As a result of this analysis, a report will be compiled. This work will take into account existing international references in the measurement of capital loss due to extraordinary events.
