The aim of this study is to analyze the role of intangible assets as a source of growth in the Spanish regions during the period 1995-2021. The objective of the project consists of two parts. The first is a database with investment estimates of intangible assets for the Spanish regions and sectors. Based on this, a report will be developed as the second part of the project, to examine the role that investment and capital endowments in these assets have played in the growth and development of Spain and its 17 regions. In addition, the report will provide an assessment of its impact on well-being and the achievement of intelligent growth based on knowledge, education, R&D and innovation, and the development of a digital society.
