The aim of this work is to revise the indicators and the SWOT analysis of the socioeconomic context and the context of R&D&I in which the development of the Intelligent Specialization Strategy for Research and Innovation in the Valencian Community (RIS3-CV) is supported.
During the second half of 2019, the Ivie carried out an assessment of the RIS3-CV Strategy covering the period since its implementation until the end of 2018, which included a revision of the general socioeconomic diagnosis and innovation system. However, as a result of the exceptional situation created by the current health crisis and given the significant consequences on the productive fabric in general and, in particular, of the Valencian Community, it is essential to reassess the new economic and social context and innovation system that will determine the development and progress of the RIS3 Strategy in the region.
This project is part of the preparatory work for the new programming period of the EU structural funds (2021-2027), which finance part of the actions included in the RIS3-CV.
