Research Areas
This research work analyses the situation of the university graduates in the Valencian labor market from multiple points of view: their growing number; their situation compared with non-graduates and in relation to participation, employment and unemployment; the features of their contracts and jobs; their role as entrepreneurs, etc. The study combines a long-term perspective, with another in which attention is paid to the most relevant aspects of the current economic crisis. Furthermore, it systematically contrasts the situation of university graduates with people without higher education, compares men with women, and explores also the most significant differences among the age groups and between the Valencian Community and Spain.
This study forms part of the report Libro verde de la empleabilidad de los titulados universitarios de la Comunitat Valenciana published by the Valencian Evaluation and Foresight Agency (AVAP) and the Valencian regional government (see pages 23-48).
