Project start date: 2008
Year of publication: 2010
Funding institution: Fundación BBVA
The nine studies that compose this monograph analyze the experiences of growth in different Latin American and European countries from an international comparative perspective. The book contains theoretically-based empirical research applying the most advanced growth accounting. Most of the studies look at extensive periods of time and are supported by up-to-date information which has provided substantial improvements to the data on factor endowments and quality changes, thus allowing new international comparisons that substantially enrich the analyses.
