Dr José María Peiró graduated (1975) and took his PhD (1977) in Philosophy and Letters at the Universitat de València. He also graduated in Psychology at the Complutense University of Madrid (1976). He was awarded with an Laurea Magistrale Honoris Causa from the Degli Studi Firenze University (2024), honorary degree, from the Federico Villarreal National University (2024), from the Almeria University (2024), from the Universidade de Coimbra (2023), from the Maastricht University (2019), from the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (2017) and from the Universidade Metodista de São Paulo (2010). He is Professor Emeritus at University of Valencia, he was founding Director of the Research Institute of Psychology of Human Resources of Organizational Development and Quality of Working Life (IDOCAL) and President of the International Association of Applied Psychology (2011-2014). He is author of more than 80 books and book chapters and 180 published articles since 2006.
