Valencian Observatory of University Education (OBSERVEU)

SIUVP (Valencian Public University System of Information) is a project created in 2012 as a tool by which universities account in a transparent manner to society, for the effectiveness and efficiency achieved in their performance. Until 2023, Ivie was responsible of collecting information, reviewing and developing indicators—which it periodically updated—as well as acquiring and managing the database domain.

With the aim of expanding and improving the scope of the SIUVP, adapting it to the new challenges facing the Valencian University System, and extending its coverage to all public and private universities, the General Directorate of Universities of the Valencian Regional Government has promoted the development of a new tool called the Valencian Observatory of University Education (OBSERVEU). This new platform will enable the analysis and monitoring of trends in the key indicators of Valencian universities, as was initially done through SIUVP, but with improved and expanded results.
