The Human Dimension of Artificial Intelligence
This study addresses a fundamental anthropological question: How do the ways in which individuals and societies think and make decisions change when an increasing share of their thinking is shaped through a dialogue with artificial intelligence? Its objective is to explore how meaning is constructed through language when that process is no longer exclusively human but incorporates forms of “artificial thought”.
From this perspective, the starting premise is that AI is not creating a new type of human being; rather, it is giving rise to a new environment for communication, knowledge acquisition, and decision-making for human beings as they already exist. This approach shifts the focus from technology itself to the individual, who remains the central figure. In other words, AI is transforming the cognitive environment in which people think, learn, make decisions, and cooperate with one another.
