The objective of this study is to quantify and analyze the participation of companies from the Valencian Community in the Next Generation European Union (NGEU) funds, comparing the financing they have secured up to June 2025 with that obtained by companies from other autonomous communities. The analysis distinguishes between funds received through public procurement and those obtained through grants and public aid, as well as by the level of the awarding public administration (national, regional, or local).
The specific issues to be analyzed are as follows: the share of companies from the Valencian Community in the awards granted through public procurement by Spanish public administrations (including tenders/grants from funds managed by the central government, autonomous communities, and local entities), in terms of both the number of tenders and the amount awarded; disaggregated information by company size, sectors of activity, and provinces; information by type of procurement; characteristics of awarded and beneficiary companies; comparison of the share of Valencian companies in national procurement with that of companies from other autonomous communities; etc.
