IvieLAB. Assessment of the Implementation of NGEU Funds in the Region of Valencia

This project updates the monitoring of the implementation of European funds in the Region of Valencia, a task that began in 2022. The analysis covers funds managed by both the autonomous communities and local governments, while also providing a comparative perspective with other Spanish regions and the Central Government. The report examines public procurement and grant calls published up to the end of the implementation period for Next Generation EU (NGEU) funds, that is, through the summer of 2026. Particular attention is given to funds financed through the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF).
The study draws on information on NGEU calls published by the Ministry of Finance and complements it with data from the Public Sector Procurement Platform and the National Grants Database. By combining these sources, the report provides a comprehensive assessment of the progress made in implementing NGEU-funded initiatives in the Region of Valencia and offers a benchmark for comparison with other Spanish administrations.
