Economic impact report of the 2024 FIA Motorsport Games in the Valencian Community

The aim of this study is to compile a report on the exante evaluation of the economic impact of hosting the FIA Motorsport Games in Valencia in October 2024. Based on data provided by the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, a series of estimations will be made to measure the impact that this event will have on added value (GDP) and employment in the Valencian Community. The methodology used is based on the input-output analysis and on estimations regarding the expected activity related to the event that will allow to calculate the approximate total economic impact (direct, indirect and induced) resulting from the increase in demand generated by the celebration of this event, both by the expected volume of expenditure and investment made to host the event (disaggregated in the different sectors to which they are destined) and  spending incurred by the event’s participants and attendees.
