The economic impact of the tourism industry: demand and economic situation of the city of Valencia

This project aims to improve knowledge about the economic impact of tourism in the city of Valencia, the profile of demand and consumption patterns, as well as the evolution of the economic situation of the sector, initially referring to 2025. This is in response to a call published by Visit Valencia Foundation, an organization under the Valencia City Council responsible for promoting tourism.

To accomplish this task, the Ivie will combine different primary and secondary sources of information to design a comprehensive field study that will allow an adequate understanding of the behavior, characteristics and habits of tourists visiting Valencia.
