Research Areas
This collaboration with the INEE aims to draw up a series of newsletters on education and training issues in Spain, as well as to analyze the PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) and PIACC (Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies) assessment programmes and their results for Spain and its regions.
During 2014, 8 newsletters were produced which examined the following aspects: a disaggregated analysis of the PISA results for Spain; an analysis of the key competences referred to in the PIAAC survey and their relationship with the situation of individuals and social and economic well-being; training and economic development; the problems of early school leaving and truancy; the differences in the education achievement of students depending on parental occupation; and the perseverance of students and their attitude when faced with difficulties.
