The collaboration between the Ivie and the Fundación para la Innovación y la Economía del Conocimiento (FIVEC) aims to develop and improve the innovation network in Valencia and create innovation maps, so as to promote a cooperative research network between research staff and the rest of the key players in universities, businesses and municipalities. The Ivie provides technical support in the following project tasks: contents of innovation maps (exploitation and analysis of data bases), the representation of innovation maps using the Geographic Information System (GIS), along with their analysis and those of the networks.
