Since 2011, the Ivie has carried out the economic impact report of the Valencia Trinidad Alfonso Marathon race. As a novelty, the 2015 edition includes the results of the runners’ satisfaction survey which was distributed among the more than 4,300 participants.
As a result of the spending incurred by the participants and organizers, the 2015 Valencia Trinidad Alfonso Marathon produced an economic impact on the Valencian economy of approximately 17 million euros. Thus, every euro spent in organizing the event generated an economic return of 3.5 euros to the Valencian economy.
