The aim of this report is to update the study prepared in 2022 for the Galician Aeronautical Consortium that analyzed the economic and financial situation of the aeronautical and aerospace sector in Galicia and Spain and its value system, which constitute the “aerospace cluster”. The report will examine the main characteristics of the sector in terms of GVA, employment and amount and type of companies that comprise it, as well as the indicators of competitiveness, profitability and solvency. The new study will cover the period 2019-2022, according to the latest information available from official statistics and SABI database, and will compare the situation of Galicia with the average of Spain. This update will include a specific section on the net creation of aerospace companies in Galicia.
