The objective of this proposal is to continue the work plan defined in the 2022 project developed for AVE to design and create a system of indicators to regularly monitor the activity of the Valencian economy. The system, which was proposed in 2021, is made up of 61 indicators grouped into different fields.

The criterion used for the selection of the indicators is based on data that is available at least quarterly (with some exceptions) and that allows us to place the Valencian Region in the national context, although some indicators also allow a European comparison. Based on the broad group of indicators proposed, two objectives are achieved:

1. Information on the key areas that allow monitoring the Valencian Community in the national/European context
2. A summary table of the economic situation, with a selection of indicators from the total that summarize the evolution of the economy of the Valencian Community.

In sum, the objective is to have regularly updated and detailed information of the main economic changes reflected by the indicators.
