Inequality, diversity and convergence: (More) measuring instruments. Regression Models
Goerlich, F. J.
Year of publication: 2001
Abstract
This work is complementary to Goerlich (2000a) and both are a follow-up of Goerlich (1998). It is, however, self-contained and can be read independently. It continues the exposition of a broad set of instruments with the aim of providing a framework for understanding the dynamic evolution of certain economic variables. The paper begins by describing a simple reference model that accommodates such a variable, the analysis of variance, and continues by considering the concept of ß convergence and its implementation in the context of regression models.
