Manuel Illueca Muñoz
Associate Professor of Financial Economy and Accounting (Universitat Jaume I)
Dr Illueca holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Universitat de València (1993) and a PhD in Business Administration and Management from the Universitat Jaume I in Castellón (2001), where he is Professor in Financial Economics and Accounting. Currently, he is General Manager of Risk and Financial Control at the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO, Corporate State-owned Entity). He was Director of the Valencian Institute of Finance from July 2015 to August 2023 and General Manager of Findango Finance from September 2023 to March 2024. His articles have been published in national journals and international ones.
Fields of research: financial statement analysis, the economics of banking, and financial derivatives
