UC3M-INAECU
Since 2013, the Ivie has established a collaboration framework with the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), through the Research Institute for Higher Education and Science (INAECU), for the study and evaluation of the production and use of information in science and technology by scientific communities, as well as in the analysis of the characteristics and behavior of user groups in their interaction with the information resources available to them.
Among the main lines of work of the INAECU Institute is that of scientific and technological research in the field of Science and University evaluation, as well as in the analysis and evaluation of the scientific activity of research and higher education institutions. Within this framework, UC3M is considered a suitable contact to provide bibliometric information on the scientific activity of Spanish universities that the Ivie uses for its projects on the Spanish university system such as U-Ranking.
