The objective of this study is twofold. First, it will estimate the economic impact of the 2026 Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Half Marathon using an input-output analysis framework, quantifying its effects in terms of income generation and employment. Second, it will assess the fiscal impact of the event by estimating the public revenues generated as a result of the economic activity associated with the race.
