This project takes a fresh and unusual approach to the phenomenon of organizational learning, based on its consequences and results, rather than its antecedents. The goal is to provide a qualitative and quantitative empirical analysis of the learning process, its facilitators, and its effects in the Spanish business environment, highlighting groups of companies that have successfully implemented various organizational learning processes.
The project’s main goals are twofold. On the one hand, to describe the group of companies that show signs of having benefited from organizational learning processes. This is something that has not been done to date and represents a relevant contribution by offering a different approach to the study of organizational learning based on its effects.
On the other hand, once these groups of companies have been described, the aim is to identify and thoroughly analyze particularly interesting cases in which specific organizational learning processes, not described to date, have been implemented, as well as to integrate previous findings from the academic literature into a more complete model of organizational learning.
