Ivie cooperates in the creation of the EActíVate Barometer for Economic Recovery to reactivate the Spanish economy

Over 5,000 businesses, entrepreneurs and workers are taking part in a survey on their economic prospects

The Ivie will be collaborating with the EActíVate initiative to develop a system of indicators (EActíVate Barometer for Economic Recovery) based on the five main areas that define the project: employability, infrastructure, productivity, reinvention and sustainability. This barometer will provide an overview of the economic situation of Spain. More specifically, the data provided by businesses will reveal the changes that Spain has experienced in the last year. The aim is to provide “data that speaks for itself”, proposing a list of indicators with two main goals: to highlight positive/optimistic messages for the future and to suggest areas for improvement.

In order to carry this out, the #EActíVate website has launched a survey, which will be open until 18 February 2021, directed to over 5,000 businesses, entrepreneurs and employees, with 10 questions on the economic business outlook.

The EActíVate initiative is born out of the movement #EstoNOtienequePARAR (#ThisDoesNOTHaveToSTOP) that started in response to the restrictions imposed to stop the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. EActíVate is a meeting place for firms of all sizes and their employees, as well as, entrepreneurs, freelancers and professionals to give visibility to those who “activate with their actions” and prove that new jobs can be created by being creative and by inspiring others to reinvent themselves and to adapt to a changing market in order to keep up their economic level of activity.
