This paper has applied the DEGURBA classification, in its two phases and levels, to the population grid of the 2021 census generated by INE offering a complete classification of the rural/urban continuum consistent with the Eurostat methodology (2021).The results offered are directly those obtained from the classification algorithm as implemented in the tools developed by the JRC, GHS-DUG and GHS-DU-TUC. The database finally offered completes and refines the one obtained directly from these tools and can be downloaded publicly.
