The University System
For over 25 years, Ivie has studied the Spanish university system from various perspectives, focusing on university governance and the articulation of university systems in the Spanish regions, as well as university funding models, performance, socio-economic contribution and the role these institutions play in changing the production model.
Under this research area, Ivie has acquired remarkable experience in the development of university information systems and in the construction of indicators that measure and quantify their activities and performance, of which, the finest example is the U-Ranking project supported by the BBVA Foundation.
