Knowledge Economy and Digital Transformation
Knowledge-based activities, i.e., those that require the most qualified resources -human capital, ICT assets, machinery and equipment or intangible assets- have gained weight in the world economy, in general, and also recently in the Spanish economy. The greater presence of these assets in the economies increases productivity gains. For this reason, recently, the Ivie has launched a line of research whose aim is to study new economic and production model based on the knowledge economy.
