The aim of this report is to estimate the economic impact of the supermarket chain Mercadona on the Spanish economy in terms of output, value added and employment taking into account the direct, indirect and induced impacts. The methodology used to estimate the impact is based on the latest input-output table on the Spanish economy developed by the Spanish Statistical Office (INE).
