Joaquín Maudos joins the list of Cotec's Top 100 Experts

Ivie's Research Deputy Director joins Matilde Mas as member of the group of experts

Ivie’s Research Deputy Director and Professor at the University of Valencia, Joaquín Maudos, is now member of Cotec’s Top 100 Experts, a network of specialists in diverse areas of knowledge with which the Cotec Foundation aims to promote the analysis of important social, economic and technological challenges facing innovation.  Maudos joins the group as an expert in banking economics, a research area in which he has built up many years of experience. In this way, the Cotec Foundation for Innovation recognizes his trajectory and extensive knowledge on the subject and also his capacity to disseminate information.

With the addition of this new member, the Ivie now has two researchers on the list of Cotec’s Top 100 experts, since Matilde Mas, Ivie’s Director of International Projects, was appointed at the beginning of this year as an expert in intangible assets. In recent years, she has focused her research on the importance of increasing the amount of investment in these type of productive assets, emphasizing the need for Spain to improve its competitiveness, especially now as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.

Both researchers have undertaken the commitment made to the institution presided by Cristina Garmendia to promote innovation in Spain and to contribute to the task of its dissemination.
