The Harvard professor Dale W. Jorgenson discusses the relation between productivity and information technologies (ICT) in this video. The cases of the United States, the European Union and Latin America are compared, with the Harvard professor also presenting the main results from the study on productivity, carried out within the EU KLEMS project. In addition, Jorgenson presents a panorama of the current economic situation in the United States, covering the Plan Paulson to the regulation of the banking sector, among other issues.

Dale W. Jorgenson is professor of Economics at Harvard University and has made a notable contribution to productivity analysis. Jorgenson took part in the BBVA Foundation-Ivie seminar on productivity and growth "Productivity and growth in Latin America and Europe: experiences and recent approaches", which was held in Buenos Aires on 6 and 7 October.
