Matilde Mas and Javier Quesada present the study on intangible assets applied to the case of Valencia

At the Workshop Los activos intangibles, claves para la valoración de la empresa valenciana

Professors of Economic Analysis and Ivie Researchers, Matilde Mas and Javier Quesada, will present on January 15th, 2018 at the University–Business Foundation of the University of Valencia (ADEIT) the study La economía intangible en España. Evolución y distribución por territorios y sectores (1995-2014), focusing on the Valencian region.  Their presentation is part of the Workshop Los activos intangibles, claves para la valoración de la empresa valenciana, organized by Adeit and Cotec Foundation, in collaboration with the Ivie, which aims to reflect on the importance of investing in intangible assets and their role in advancing towards a new economic model based on knowledge.

The Principal of the University of Valencia, Esteban Morcillo; and the Valencian Minister of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labour, Rafael Climent will inaugurate the event, along with the President of ADEIT, Juan Manuel Pérez; and the Managing Director of COTEC, Jorge Barrero. After the opening session, Matilde Mas and Javier Quesada will review the evolution of investment in intangible assets in the Valencian Community, making a national and international comparison. In addition, they will discuss the types of intangible assets most used in Valencian firms and the ICT-intensive sectors in Valencia.

Following the presentation of the study carried out by the Ivie Researchers for the COTEC Foundation, the representatives of the Valencian firms Ayming and INDETEC will discuss their firms’ specific case regarding the use of intangible assets.
