The Ivie is a participant in the EU KLEMS project, whose aim is to analyze productivity in the European Union (UE-25), the United States, Canada, South Korea, Australia and Japan, and is financed by the European Commission, Research Directorate General.
The project is part of the 6th Framework Progamme, Priority 8 "Policy Support and Anticipating Scientific and Technological Needs". The Ivie is among the eighteen North American, Asian and European research centres and institutions having worked on this project.
As a result of this work, the data bank on productivity and economic growth provides information on the productivity of 30 countries, facilitating the comparison of different economies in terms of industry. Data currently covers the period 1970-2007.
